Charming

I like this door a lot. When I came across it, it called out to me. I had to photograph it and I had to share it. No, there's nothing terribly special about it, but it does have character and charm. It is simple yet inviting and it has nice accessories.

Call me superficial, but I have to say that the little grill (for chatting through the door) above the mail slot, sealed the deal for me....isn't it just so pretty?

I missed commenting on your last four doors...they were all very unique and this one has it's own charm.

Very pretty, I like the heart above the door too.

I was wondering what that was above the mail slot. I love it! I also like the window above -- very unique!

I agree with you, the door seems simple but the little details show its real value!

We agree a beautiful door. We would love to have a chat(ter) box too!!! Mom would wear that feature out if we had one. HA!!! Shhh don't tell her I said that.
Funny door story: Several years ago we had a new door installed. Our old one did not have a peep hole. Mom specially requested one for the new door. So it is being installed while Mom is at work. Mom gets home and Dad is proudly showing her the peep hole. Mom is 5'4" the installer and Dad both nearly 6'. The peep hole is above her head. Totally useless so now Dad has to always answer the door. Moral to that story don't let tall men install your peep hole or chat(ter) box.
